Blackford's Beauty and Chris S.'s Flying home to Bali

Chris Shepardson made these two Nickel projects, using Nickels that she swapped on QAF, especially the browns and neutrals.
Ruth Evans took a class from Pat Speth and made this Dawn to Dusk quilt. It's Ruth's first Nickel Quilt. The pattern is on page 98 in 'More Nickel Quilts' by Pat Speth.

Pinwheels on Parade - another Nickel Quilt by Ruth Evans. This one is also from 'More Nickel Quilts' by Pat Speth, page 48.

 

Ruth won our hopscotch BOM and made this Nickel Quilt with the blocks, adding the Flying Geese. This quilt is called Flying Home from Bali Bali. The patter is from Pat Speth's 'Nickel Quilts' page 70.

Ruth made this Christmas Flying Geese quilt from a free pattern on Pat Speth's website. (what to do with those little cutoff triangle pairs) Very clever!!

This twin sized Shady Lanes quilt was made by Chris Shepardson. She used Nickels from the massed florals, the green swap and the pink and green dotted nickels, along with other fabrics from her stash. Chris plans to quilt it in the ditch. Nice quilt, Chris!
