Colors: 
Dark green for the "legs", light green for the center and beige, cream, or cream on cream for the background.

Cutting:

            Dark Green:           Cut 4 squares, 3 1/2"

        Cut 2 squares, 3 7/8" and divide each diagonally to make 4 half square triangles.

            Light Green:           Cut 1 square, 4 3/4"

            Background:          Cut 8 squares, 3 1/2"

Piecing:

            Sew the 4 half square triangles to the center square. 

            Sew two strips of 4 squares each and 2 strips of 2 squares each (See color picture for arrangement of blocks.

            Sew the two strips of two squares to opposite sides of the center and then the two strips of 4 squares to the other two sides.
