Jewel tones, one light and one dark with white or white on white as the background.

 

 

 

Cutting:

         Dark:  Cut one square 7 1/8".  Divide diagonally twice to make 4 quarter square triangles. 

                  Cut 4 rectangles, 4 3/4" x 2 5/8"

 

         Light: Cut 4 squares, 2 5/8"

         White: Cut one square 7 1/4".  Divide diagonally twice to make 4 quarter square triangles. 

                  Cut 1 square, 4 3/4"

 

Assembly"

         Sew two of the dark rectangles to opposite sides of the large white square.  Sew a light square to each end of the other two dark rectangles and sew them to the other two sides of the white square.

 

         Sew the light and white quarter square triangles together in pairs and sew two of them to opposite sides of the center.  Sew the remaining two light/white triangle pairs to the other two sides of the center.
