Blue & White for January….nice winter colors. Choose a Dark Blue and a Medium Blue. White on White for the center stripe.
Cutting. The easiest way is to cut a strip of each color, at least 27" long (gives an extra inch to straighten ends before you cut) and 2 1/2" wide. Sew the strips together side by side with the white on white strip in the middle and cross cut the strips into 6 1/2" lengths You'll have 4 6 1/2" squares..Sew the 4 squares together to make the block.
If you want to cut individual pieces, each piece is 6 1/2" x 2 1/2"…cut 4 dark blue, cut 4 white on white, and 4 medium blue.
